New: Non-Anonymous Survey Report

We have just launched a new option to view survey results including the student data. Previously, all survey results were anonymous but, with this change, it's possible to allow administrators to view who completed the surveys that are associated to a specific session. In order to view this new report, user need to have access to it. Enable access by editing the user and adding the " View Non-Anonymous Survey Results " permission. This permission was assigned by default to the main account administrators. Other system users or technical contacts do not have access by default. If your account has access to this report, you will see the report listed as "Session Log with Surveys Results Incl. Student Data". Execute and download the report in either Excel or plain CSV format. This report is intended for small surveys mainly as all the results will be shown inside the same cell for each result. Look at an example here:

Schedule Reports to be Sent Automatically

We have just released a new feature in Accudemia that allows power-users and administrators to send reports automatically. In order to schedule a report, go to the Reports screen, select the report you want and the filters as you would do to view it normally. If you have the appropriate permissions, you'll see a new button "Schedule Report": When clicked, you will be guided through a 5-step wizard: 1) Start: Enter a descriptive name of the report you are scheduling. Since this Name will be shown to the user receiving the report, you can use to describe what it is and how it’s filtered. If you are sending this to other users (eg, Instructors) you might, you can for example enter “Last 30 days of your students’ activity”. 2) Schedule: This is when the report will be sent. The max frequency is daily and you can pick at around what time it will be sent. 3) Recipients: Select who will receive the report. It can be either all active instructors, all active tutors, speci

Advisor? Counselor? Tutor? Pick what suits you best.

As part of our Accudemia upgrade plan, we are introducing new changes we believe you will enjoy. Accudemia is designed to work in multiple centers and each center has its own preferences and its own way to work. That has been possible since the very beginning, with the exception of choosing what terminology it should use. Starting today, each center can pick what terminology to use for its staff members. Running a Tutoring Center? An Advising Center? Now it's possible to decide exactly what word it should use depending on the context. Accudemia supports changing the terminology for Tutor (and its derivates Tutors and Tutoring) at a global level and also per center. The global term is used when a center context is not available, such as when listing all users under User Accounts. All these new configurations can be found in the Control Panel, under the Terminology section. Recommendation: Our recommendation is to set the global term to be Staff Member and then use Tutor, Adviso

Include instructions in your login page

We have released a new version for Accudemia that included a really useful feature, but few have noticed it. It's now possible to include some Login Instructions or actually any text you want in the Accudemia's login screen. To do so, go to the Control Panel > Appearance and Themes to update the login instructions. The instructions will be added to the left of the login box. Just save the changes after you have entered and enjoy.

1-click sign-in for staff members now available

Productivity is essential when a center is busy and there's a long line of students waiting. Hopefully that's not your case, but in any case if we can save tutors, advisors or counselors a few seconds of their time, we have made their job easier and more valuable. Starting today, we're rolling out an update that lets staff members sign-in and sign-out with only one click (OK, maybe two). On the top-right part of the screen, staff members will see a button indicating whether they are signed-in or not. Clicking there will show a small popup to let them sign-in or sign-out, without having to leave the screen they are currently on. When signed-out: When signed-in: If you are an administrator and don't think this is useful or want to disable it for any reason, you can do so in the Control Panel . Click on " User Accounts " and uncheck the option " Tutors can sign them in and out from any screen ". Leave your comments below if you find this feature

Less is More: We’ll remember your selections

Starting today, Accudemia will remember the selections you make in multiple screens. That means that you won't have to select your center, your name or other filters over and over again. Every time you pick an option, if you navigate away from that screen and come back, the same option will be picked. In the Intake System for example, that means that we are going to take you directly to your center (if the Waiting Line is enabled) and we'll give you the option to select a different center. That means that you won't need to select the same filters several times. If you want to change how it works for one or more filter, you can do so by going to My Settings and selecting Site Navigation. There you will see over 20 options that let you nip pick what Accudemia remembers and what not. Also, along with this important update that makes Accudemia easier to use, we have updated a few screens, icons and added a new "Refresh" button in key screens that will let you refr

New Support Channel

We are pleased to announce that we have improved the online help in Accudemia and also added a new way to submit support tickets. You can find those new additions in the Online Help button: Clicking there will give instance access to search our Knowledge Base and the option to either contact us if you are a registered technical contact, or to contact the center administrator if you're not. By creating a ticket using this new tool, you can (optionally) submit context information (such as your browser information) and authorize the support team member helping you to see the data you're seeing. Hope you enjoy the new additions we designed to give you better and faster support.

Accudemia 6.0 heads up

The wait is finally over and we are ready to release a new version of Accudemia.  This version has the Phase I enhancements we announced earlier.  Watch the accompanying short video for a sneak peek and to know what to expect. Your Accudemia software will be upgraded to the new version in the next few days.  We will do the work and you do not have to do anything at your end.  Once the upgrade is completed, your Accudemia software will be running with the much improved interface.  For a smoother transition, we will perform the upgrade after work hours so you’ll see the new version when you start in the morning. Did you know?  It took 3 months of intense work from our software developers to create this new version of Accudemia. While we did a lot of in-house testing of the new version, there is always a chance that we missed something!  If you run into an issue, do not worry!  We will be standing by to address any discovered issues with the new release.  Simply email
