Hello Accudemia 2012

As we have previously announced , Accudemia was moved to Amazon Could servers to provide a more reliable service for our customers. We have highly improved our recovery plan in case of failures and we are still improving it. So we expect to provide even better service in 2012. Also, we are introducing a lot of improvements to the existent features. iAccu is unveiling the Multi Device Session Tracking Mode (MDST), where you can organize sessions and use multiple devices to sign-in and sign-out users. As iAccu can be used while you’re on a place with no Internet connection, MDST is an important addition since now multiple admins can track users simultaneously. Accudemia has many bug fixes and improvements with email templates being the most important addition. Now you can fully customize the text and format of all emails that Accudemia sends. What’s Next? Well, there’re many ideas for the future, but you’ll have to wait to see them. Send us your ideas , requests and everything y

Moving to a more reliable place

We are pleased to announce that Accudemia will be moving to the Amazon cloud.  The Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) offers a highly reliable, flexible, and secure environment.  The service runs within Amazon’s proven network infrastructure and datacenters.  The Amazon EC2 Service Level Agreement commitment is 99.95% availability! This move will provide Accudemia users with more reliable service. To assure minimal disruption to Accudemia users, we plan to move Accudemia during the Christmas break (December 17 to 31).   Sometime during this period, Accudemia will go down while we make the switch.  When it comes back, Accudemia will be running on Amazon.  All data will be moved as well and users will be able to continue where they left off.  Since this move is occurring during the holiday, we expect that most users will not even notice it. We are looking forward to providing you with even better service in 2012.
